Synopsis: This adaptation of the Mary Shelley novel is very different from the typical horror-film approach. Frankenstein is a flawed and passionate human, and his creation is complex and learned, as well as brutal.
Performance history: FRANKENSTEIN, the Real Story ran Oct. 20 - Nov. 12, 1989 at the Emmy Gifford Children's Theater in Omaha. It was produced by the Omaha Theater Company for Young People in July 1992, and produced at Benson High School in the fall of 2004.
