Synopsis: This show is for primary aged children. It features extensive audience participation and some discussion of nutrition. The simple songs invite the children in the audience to sing along. The show has toured Nebraska, Iowa, and Alabama.

Performance history: THE GINGERBREAD BOY premiered in 1987 at the Emmy Gifford Children's Theater in Omaha, NE, and toured Nebraska and Iowa in 1989. It also toured Alabama with the Birmingham Children's Theater in 1988.
